6 Keys To Business To Business Email Marketing > Email Marketing

There are a lot of myths about online marketing. Now a few misconceptions may not matter all that much if they were harmless, but when it comes to your money, then it’s always better to be well-informed. Some of the worst, most damaging myths out there revolve around business to business email marketing. With that in mind, here are some things you should be aware of before running your next email campaign.

1. Know your customer. The more you know about your customer, the better. What are their problems? What are their current solutions? How can you help them? What do you know about their business? All of these questions need to be answered before you send a company an email message. First, you need to make sure they are a good customer for your offer. Second, it shows respect and they will appreciate that you know something about who they are.

2. Get to the point. Imagine you are meeting with your prospective customer at their place of business. You may start with a bit of small talk, but you wouldn’t linger on it. In other words, you can start your business to business email marketing with a friendly tone, but you also have to stick with a no-nonsense approach at the same time.

3. Remember who the message is for. Yes, you are sending out the email to generate profits for your own business, but the message it contains is for the person receiving it. In other words, you have to be very clear about how your offer benefits them.

4. Ask for their business. One of the biggest mistakes people make when it comes to business to business email marketing is not being bold enough in closing the deal. You don’t have the benefit of making your presentation in a face-to-face setting, so you need to be clear and direct in what you want the reader of your message to do.

5. Don’t use trickery to get them to open your email. Sure, you may get them to open your message, but you will have done so through dishonesty. That will kill the sale before you ever get a chance to present your offer. You also need to bear in mind that there is a fine line between being clever and being deceitful; make sure you don’t cross it.

6. Track results. When doing business to business email marketing you should keep track of and measure everything you can. When you sent out each message, to whom, what the subject line was, the body of the email, open rates, click-through rates, how many previous messages you have sent, and so on. You can use any and all of this data to refine your sales message and improve your results over time.

In today’s world, mastering the art and science of business to business email marketing is one of the most important keys to success. It’s relatively inexpensive, especially when compared to traditional forms of advertising, and it can give you a very robust return on your investment.

4 Steps To Generate Leads With A Sequential Autoresponder > Email Marketing

As an internet marketer, unless you are dead and buried, you already know how effective a tool a sequential autoresponder can be. However, there is one way to use it that you may not have thought of, and then again you may have and decided against it.

To be straightforward this particular online marketing strategy has been around awhile. But, because it’s so simple many folks, like you perhaps, have said it doesn’t work, it’s worn out, and it’s no longer effective. If you have been one of those, you may need to rethink your position on this marketing tactic. Here’s why!

Millions of new users come on line each and every day. The primary reason most of them come on line is to learn something new or get information that will help them solve a problem. These “newbie’s” to the internet have never been exposed to this marketing tactic. So in today’s modern internet marketing vernacular it’s “an evergreen marketing tactic”. Now let’s get on with it.

Step 1: You need to set up another project directory on your Internet site. Come up with a universal password and user name which your present opt-in list folks will use and the new subscribers to your list. Name your new project “My Magic Steps To Astounding Weight Loss …” or something else which makes them want it. The next step may be the hardest part of the whole sequential autoresponder marketing tactic.

Step 2: Take the time to find some really valuable reports, eBooks, articles, scripts (are good), videos or perhaps software (Of course it must fit your niche market). Upload to your new directory for your subscribers to get hold of. Make sure it’s free.

Step 3: Very Important! Prepare a short series of autoresponder messages (3 or 4) to go out to your list. They should create a buzz about what’s coming from “My Magic Steps To Astounding Weight Loss …”. If possible each of these messages should have a tidbit of good solid information. Naturally they will be in sequential order with the buzz building to cresando. Space them out over a week. In fact your sequential autoresponder will distribute them in the order you set them up in.

Step 4: Write an intriguing and curiosity arousing conversational “sales page” about “My Magic Steps To Astounding Weight Loss …” You must include the fact that this information/whatever are free. To make this tactic really work for you set a time limit or the number of people you are going to release this to. Make subscribers feel they are taking part in a very personal and private event.

A word of caution here! Don’t make the mistake of not shutting down your offer when you reach the total number of people or the deadline date. You could damage your creditability with your new subscribers and your old subscribers. When that happens you may find yourself losing leads instead of gaining them.

Now here’s the payoff!

Once all these good folks have opted in to your new list you can send out new notifications to them of what’s going on with your “”My Magic Steps To Astounding Weight Loss …”. You can also include information about other products which are in the same “niche market”.

Go ahead and try the sequential autoresponder marketing tactic. It still works and it can be very profitable when used properly.

The Best Way to Earn a Passive Income > IM Management

There are many ways to generate income online and a passive income is one of those ways. Being able to generate a passive income takes a special skill. Your audience can be fickle. If they feel you are more concerned about the money than them, you will fail. Your intent needs to be about helping others.

Initially you are going to need to put in a lot of time. It’s hard work to get a passive income flow going and to build that success. It doesn’t come overnight, although many would like you to believe this. Just because you have your product it doesn’t mean you can sit back and relax. There really isn’t a 100% passive income, because you always have to be managing what you are doing. You need to build automation, but to do that you first have to create trust with your followers or audience. That’s where initially you have a lot of time invested, which will decrease, but you will always be involved.

You will need to find a market that works for you. You will need to find a niche market that you can help based on your experience and passion. How well you serve your audience will dictate what your earnings are. Don’t just pick a niche because it’s currently ‘hot.’ You are going to need to continue to build, write articles, and market that product and new products that fit under that initial niche for years to come, so make sure it’s a niche you can handle, otherwise you will not enjoy success. Instead, try to fill a gap in the market in the niche that interests you.

You will need to build a platform so that you can start to share your product. This could be YouTube, it could be a blog or whatever other market interests you. You don’t have to reach everyone. That’s a waste of effort. Instead, focus on reaching the audience that would be interested in what you have to offer.

Determine which products are going to serve you best and then offer your audience value. In fact, offering them something of value for free helps to establish trust and interest so that they are far more likely to buy whatever else it is you have to offer. They now know you have expertise in your niche and something that’s worth listening to so they are ready to pay.

As your passive income builds and you become comfortable in your business, make sure that the profit never becomes your main motivation, because when it does you set yourself up for failure.

Post Photos and Short Videos Relevant To Your Brand > Instagram Marketing

Being relevant at all times makes you look professional and consistent. It is always important to post images and short videos that are relevant to your brand. If this is done correctly, you stand a chance of making your Instagram page identifiable with your brand.

On most occasions, businesses on Instagram make irrelevant posts that have nothing to do with their brand. In doing so, they confuse their audiences. This is an implication that they do not offer their audience a definite line of identification.

Posting relevant and consistent images and short videos also makes you readily identified by your audience. Internet users have a wide range of interests and are expected to only engage themselves with the content that pleases them. Capturing the interest of internet users, especially social media enthusiasts, is perhaps the most difficult thing when it comes to social media marketing.

Being consistent and relevant with your postings is an important step to capturing the interests of your audience. Therefore, it is important to always remain relevant and consistent with your Instagram postings in order to woo the support of your audience.

How To Build A Big Opt-in List By Using Articles As Your Lead Generation Tool > List Building

There are many strategies you can follow to build opt-in list for your business. As long as you have a good squeeze page in place, it’s only a matter of driving traffic to your page. You can do it by using various strategies, such as PPC advertising, social media marketing, media buying, video marketing, and so on. But, among many of those strategies, you can drive traffic to your squeeze page with article marketing. Only by writing good articles, you can drive traffic to your squeeze page and get more opt-in subscribers. This is a good lead generation tool that you can use in your business.

There are a lot of benefits of article marketing. First, it is simple. You only write articles related to your niche, and then publish it in your website or other related websites. Second, it can be done for free. If you have the ability to write well-written content, then it is a free marketing strategy for you. You don’t need to spend a lot of money to promote your squeeze page, when you compare it with many paid marketing strategies. And third, article marketing can bring quality traffic to your squeeze page. People who read your articles and go to your squeeze page after reading your articles are the people who are very interested in becoming your subscribers. Thus, you can convert your subscribers easily if you do this.

Now, how can you effectively use this promotion strategy to increase the number of subscribers in your list? Here are some tips you can follow to build a big opt-in list by using articles as your lead generation tool:

1. The Continuity Of Your Articles

When you choose to attract more subscribers to your mailing list by using articles, you have to ensure that you can keep up with your article writing. If you just write one article and expect it to deliver a lot of subscribers to your list for a long time to come, then you will be disappointed. It is important for you to keep writing articles to attract more subscribers to your list, even though you already have them coming to you. Your articles should also be relevant to each other, providing a more unified message to your audience. In other words, publish your articles regularly to keep your new subscribers coming.

2. Provide Relevant Links In Your Articles

You are sending the traffic to your opt-in page by placing relevant links in your articles. These links are the bridge for you to lead your audience to your squeeze page. So, it is important for you to place your links naturally. Simply let your audience know about your squeeze page in your article, and make the links a part of your content. In this way, your audience will be compelled to go to your link without feeling that they are forced to do that.

3. Give The Answers That Your Audience Needs

Every business makes money by providing solutions to their audience’s problems. In every niche, there is a problem that you need to solve. With these problems, there are a lot of questions that your audience are asking. These questions are the embodiment of their problems. For instance, if you are on a weight loss niche, you will hear questions like “How can I lose weight quickly,” “How can I burn my belly fat without exercising,” “Can busy people follow this weight loss program,” and many other questions. Your goal is to provide satisfying answers to those questions with your articles. This will entice your audience to join your list to learn more from you.

4. Write Only Relevant Articles

You should not write articles that are not related to your business niche. Relevancy is important to keep your audience interested in reading your articles. If today you write an article about weight loss, and tomorrow you write an article about skin care, then your audience will lose their focus on reading your articles. They don’t know what you really want to give to them. This can lead to a problem in your business. They might not be willing to join your list because you are not clear about the niche that you are working on. You cannot become an expert in all niches. If you have a business on a weight loss niche, be sure to write articles that are related only to the weight loss niche.

How To Get Free Traffic From Facebook Groups > Facebook Marketing

Facebook Groups are an excellent way for you to generate some free traffic. You just have to know what to do and what not to do. No matter what niche you are in it is likely that there will be a number of Facebook Groups related to it. By participating in these groups you can also grow your own audience.

Identify the right Groups

To find groups that are related to your niche all you have to do is to use the search facility in Facebook. First think about the keywords that best describe your niche. So if you are in the weight loss niche you might come up with:

  • Weight loss
  • Burn fat
  • Diets
  • Nutrition
  • Exercise
  • Diet programs

You can go sub-niche as well if that suits you. Examples of this could be “weight loss for women”, “weight loss for men over 50” and “losing belly fat”. Do your homework here and come up with as many keywords as you can.

Find Active Groups

You do not want to join a group that is “dead” as this will be a waste of your time. So look for active groups that have a lot of members. Sometimes you will need to apply to join a group to see what is really going on.

When the search results come back try and identify 5 to 10 good groups and apply to join them all. The best groups are closed and you want to avoid open groups as these tend to receive a lot of spam. Once you are a member have a good look around the group to see how active it is.

Be sure to read the rules of the group before you spend any time in them. Most groups will allow links to external websites in posts but there are some that won’t.

Provide Value in the beginning

Don’t just dive in with promotional messages when you first join a group. Members are going to think that you are a spammer and you will be kicked out fast. A good post to start with is one introducing yourself. Tell people who you are and what you stand for. You can tell them about your Facebook Page and your website in this post.

It is very likely that a lot of existing group members will respond to your intro post and welcome you to the group. Be sure to thank them for all of their comments. Interaction is really important.

Check for Promo Days

Quite a number of groups on Facebook have “promo days”. These are special days where you can openly promote your business and your offers to other group members. If you have joined several groups then we recommend that you make a note of these promo days in a calendar or spreadsheet so that you can take advantage of them.

Repurpose your existing Content

You need to make posts on other days as well as it will not be appreciated if you are just active on promo days. So you can use content that you have already published on your website that adds value to the group.

Making posts of value will increase your credibility and influence within the group. You want other members to see you as an authority in the niche. They will then check out your Facebook Page and your website to find out more about you.

How to Write Sharable Content > Social Marketing

Content makes the web go round. If you want more traffic, if you want more loyal visitors and if you want better search rankings, then you need content.

But this is even truer on social media. Sharing your own content is perhaps the best social media strategy and if other people share it with their networks too? Even better. This can result in potentially exponential gains that massively accelerate your growth. But how do you write content in such a way that people will want to share it?

Tip 1: Make it Specific

The single most powerful tip I can possibly share on this topic is to aim your content at someone specific. That means that it should be tailored for your ‘persona’ – the demographic that you think will want to read your content.

This works because it leverages the communicative nature of social media. Generally, we share content with someone to show that we are thinking of them or we share it generally because it in some way reflects our personality.

For either of these things to work, you first need to write your content in such a way that it will specifically appeal to that certain type of person.

Tip 2: Facilitate Discussion

Another tip is to facilitate discussion, or to make your post something that can be used as part of discussion. Making your post something that asks a challenging question and takes a potentially controversial stance is one way to do that. A safer way is to make a post that can explain a topic or back up an argument, thereby making it something that people can share with their friends or people in online communities when they’re having discussions.

Tip 3: Choose the Right Images

The right images go a long way to making your content more sharable and engaging. Did you know that a lot of the time, people click ‘like’ or ‘share’ before they’ve even read the content? In that case, they’re going off of the title and the image alone. So make sure your image says something and really jumps out.

Tip 4: Choose the Right Title

And so with that in mind, you of course also need the right title. What is a good title for social media?

Clickbait titles work very well but are frowned upon for being spammy. So learn from them, don’t copy them. Make your titles emotionally resonant, unique and interesting while having some meat to deliver on when people click!

How to Test Your Website After You Build It > Website Design

You have created your website. You like the look of it and you are satisfied with the outcome. But what does it look like to the rest of the world? The problem with the internet is that each browser is going to show your website differently, which is why it is so important to test your web pages and their design.

You should have a look at your website pages in Internet Explorer, Opera, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. You can get all of these browsers at no cost. You just need to download them. Testing your pages in each of the browsers is the only way to do it. There’s no easy way to do it.

Now you may be thinking that it’s just easier to focus on your website looking good for one or two of these browsers, that’s not really good for business. You also want to be thinking into the future where you can ensure your site will show as the code changes.

If you wish to improve your chances that the site is going to work in the future browser versions, think about validating your code for your web pages. What this means in non-technical language is that you check the underlying code of each of your web pages. This is called HTML and CSS. You are looking for syntax errors. Don’t worry, there’s no need for you to have technical skills here. It sounds a little intimidating but you will do fine. There are tons of free web page validators kicking around the internet. Find one you like and put it to work.

However, if the validator is telling you that you have page errors, it can sometimes be tricky to figure out where you have erred and whether it is a minor error or a serious problem. Some of the validators are good at giving excellent suggestions to help you fix the issue.

Here are some of the more popular tools for testing your site:

1. HTML Validator – http://validator.w3.org/ -checks the validity of your pages – HTML, MathML, SMIL, XHTML, etc.
2. Links Validator – http://validator.w3.org/checklink – analyses anchors/hyperlinks in HTML/XHTML documents.
3. RSS Feed Validator – http://validator.w3.org/feed/ – this is a free service that checks and validates the Atom or RSS feed syntax.
4. CSS Validator – http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ – validates CSS documents or style sheets using CSS style sheets.
5. Free Site Validator – http://freesitevalidator.com/ – the entire site is scanned for validation errors and dead links.

How to Choose Keywords for Your Website > Website Design

Keywords are critical to the success of your website. You should have between 20 and 40 keywords/keyword phrases to ensure you have chosen a broad enough topic to build a successful website on. When you pick the keywords that are most profitable, you can bring the right targeted traffic to your site.

Expanding your keyword list can be done using some of the many tools that are available, such as Google Keyword Tool. It is a great way to get some excellent keyword ideas. It will provide you with a list of potential keywords and keyword phrases. You can get a more accurate idea by using ‘Match Types,’ and by choosing the ‘Phrase’ option.

Expanding Your Keywords
For example, use the word cat and ‘cat food’ as the keyword phrase – you will get just over 1,300,000 searches so that would make it worth expanding further on. Then let us say you search cat food and you discover the number of searches is over 2,000,000 so you can see how this could be a better choice because more people are searching.

Find Related Keywords
It is really easy to do your keyword research focusing on terms that are commonly used by those who are already familiar with the topic. But you shouldn’t stop at this point. There are always tons of other words that should be considered. This is the reason why it is so important to research all the phrases by looking at synonyms and words that are related.

After you find the keywords that are right for you, and with tons of potential, you should add them to your keyword list, along with the number of times they have been searched. Your list should be pretty extensive by now.

Calculate the Keyword Potential
To calculate the keyword’s potential you need to figure out how many searches there have been using the Google Keyword tool in comparison to how much competition there is. For your first keyword/ keyword phrase; take the number in the search column and divide by the number in the competition column. This provides you with a rough idea of the potential that keyword can offer.  Multiply this number by 1000 to make your results easier to analyze.

Choosing Your Keywords
Choose the keywords with the highest potential, and use those in your search engine optimization. Start to enjoy the benefits of targeted traffic to your website.

Build a Website That’s Profitable > Website Monetization

Every day tons of people start a website in hopes of making extra income online. You need to be ready to put in a considerable amount of work, learn how to bring targeted traffic to your site and then turn that traffic into paying customers.

Should you Choose a Free Website?

Choosing a free website is the most common mistake made, rather than opting for a site they pay for and actually own. WordPress.com is one of the most common traps out there. WordPress is fine but don’t make the mistake of thinking that once you build it that you can actually monetize it. The rules are strict about what you can and cannot do on the WordPress.com site.

Blogspot at Blogger.com lets you build your site free, but you need to remember these types of sites are never really your own. What would you have if you labored away to build your site only to find Blogger.com shut down at a later date. All your work would have been gone.

A better option is to have your own site hosted at a web host. It costs a little bit a month, but it’s yours, you can monetize it however, you want, and you know it will be there as long as you want it to.

Keywords and Traffic

Keywords are very important to targeting traffic to your website. You don’t just want traffic you want traffic that would actually be interested in what you offer. You can have the most fantastic products or services, but if no one can find you then your online business is going to be dead before it ever gets off the ground.

You need to analyze the people who would want what you have and what they are typing in to find what you have to offer. Choose around 20 keywords/keyword phrases. Those are what you’ll use to target traffic and also to get your website ranked by the search engines.

Build your Website

Great news! You don’t have to understand HTML or CSS to build your website. There are tons of site builder options available to you including software programs like Dreamweaver and Xsitepro. There are plenty of online options too, and many web hosts offer site builder software so take advantage of it and get your website up and running in no time at all.

You can build a profitable website and begin to earn revenue from it. Best of all it isn’t nearly as complicated as you might have thought, so why wait another day?

The 5 Things That You Need To Focus On When Sending Email Newsletters To Your Subscribers > Email Marketing

The best way to keep your subscribers interested in your mailing list is to send regular newsletters. You can send weekly or monthly newsletters to your list, which you use to inform them about various information related to your niche. In this way, you will not only promote your products to your subscribers, but you can actually provide a good value to your list. This is what keeps your subscribers interested in reading your emails again and again, especially if your newsletters can really help them to learn a lot of things related to the niche that they are interested in.

If you want to run a successful email newsletter campaign, you have to get prepared to provide valuable information to your audience constantly. Here are 5 things that you need to focus when sending email newsletters to your subscribers:

1. Keep Your Content Relevant To Your Business Niche

You should keep your content relevant to your niche because your subscribers are the people that subscribe to your list because they are interested in the niche. For instance, if you publish a newsletter about video games, but you keep on giving information about music and movies, then people will not keep their interest in your niche, since it is no longer relevant for them. They subscribe to your list because they want to get video games-related information, not information about music and movies. So, be sure to stick to your business niche, because it can affect your audience’s interest toward your newsletters.

2. Write Only Well-Written And Information-Rich Newsletter Content

Always double-check your newsletter content before sending it to your mailing list subscribers. This is to avoid any mistakes in your content. You have to write only well-written content that your audience can read easily. If your content is full of grammatical or spelling mistakes, people will not appreciate it. Moreover, they will think that you are not professional or reputable. The content should also be informative, since you want to impress your audience and keep them interested to read your content. Make sure that you give something worth to read whenever you send your newsletter emails.

3. Keep Your Content Compatible With Real Facts

You should not just aim to publish sensational content, but forget to cross check the content with real facts. You need to keep your content in line with the facts that happen in real life. It is better for you to avoid publishing rumors or news that don’t have any correlation with facts. Remember that you want to build trust with your subscribers, and you want them to keep their interest in your mailing list. So, you have to keep your content factual, not opinionated. You can publish your opinions in your newsletter, but make sure that you state it as your opinions, not as facts.

4. Provide Only Fresh Content To Your Subscribers

By providing fresh content to your audience, you will keep them want to listen more. But, if you give only regurgitated content, by recycling old content all over again, your audience won’t be impressed with what you give to them. Remember that the fresh content given to your audience can give you a big advantage in creating the best experience for your subscribers. Fresh content is a tool for you to keep your audience glued to your list and avoid clicking that unsubscribe link. Of course, the more you can impress them, the more they will be willing to follow your recommendations.

5. Don’t Use Copyrighted Materials On Your Newsletters

Keep your newsletters original and avoid using any copyrighted materials from any other parties. It is okay for you to use copyrighted materials as long as you can obtain a legit permission from the copyright holder. In this case, you are using the copyrighted materials legally, which is fine. But, if you use copyrighted materials on your newsletters without obtaining permission from the copyright holder, you are using it illegally. This can give you legal troubles, and it can make your audience stop trusting you. It is better to use images, videos, or content that you create for yourself. This will keep your newsletters unique and genuine, making your subscribers to appreciate it more.

How Content Marketing Actually Works > Content Marketing

There is a lot of confusion and misunderstanding when it comes to content marketing.

The problem is that content marketing sounds incredibly simple. Content marketing simply means posting to a website regularly so that there is content for people to read and so that Google will find the content right?

As long as you post regularly, it doesn’t really matter what the content you share is. Once someone reads your posts and sees they’re coming in regularly, they’ll start to follow your site… for sure.

Hopefully you can already see the problem here when you say it out loud! In reality, this is how content marketing actually works…

Slow and Steady

Contrary to popular belief, people don’t get wowed by your website on the first visit for the most part. Normally, we are reading the web because we need some information quickly or we fancy a bit of entertainment. Thus we search Google or we click that link our friend shared. We scroll down the page, dismissing the pop up asking us to fill in our email (why would we??) and we read. We never even notice the logo at the top of the page.

Things only start to click into place if we then visit that site again. And again. Through fluke on Google, or because a friend keeps sharing the content, we start to see the same brand crop up a few times and because that’s happened, we start to recognize it. It’s only at this point that we then make a mental note of the site and think of it as one we trust and one we’d like to hear more from.

And now, instead of searching for ‘how to lose weight’, we search for ‘how to lose weight breaking muscle’. Because that’s our ‘go to’ site for that kind of information and we want to know what they have to say.

Eventually, if they keep on impressing in this capacity, then we might go on to start reading their regular posts, or we might just subscribe to their feed. And only then do we start to get to know the person behind the content, start to know them and trust them and consider subscribing to their email list and maybe buying from them.

Conclusion

The conclusion? Content marketing isn’t a magic bullet. It is hard work and it is only effective at all if you consistently put out excellent quality work.

Generate Free Traffic with Your Own Facebook Group > Facebook Marketing

Having your own Facebook Group is a great way to generate free traffic. You are in control when you have your own group and it is a great way to increase your authority and influence group members. But you need to setup your group in the right way and keep your members happy.

Go for a Closed Group

There are three options for your group when you open it which are:

  1. Open
  2. Closed
  3. Secret

An open group means that anyone can join without applying to become a member. This sounds great but unfortunately open groups are more likely to be targeted by spammers so we do not recommend this.

With a closed group, a Facebook user has to make a request to you as the group owner to become a member. This is much better as you are in control of who joins. Closed groups are also searchable.

A secret group cannot be found using a Facebook search. We do not recommend that you go for this arrangement.

Setting Up your Group

Give your group a name based on your best keyword. Remember that you want users to find your group using search so this is the best strategy. If your niche is weight loss then you could call your group “The Weight Loss Winners Group” or something like this.

You can add tags to your group to help identify it in a search so be sure to use other related keywords here. Next you want to add a striking cover photo for your group. This needs to be a related image with a strong message such as “Learn how to lose weight and keep it off”.

We recommend that you include a photo of yourself as well. It is important that other members know, like and trust you as that is the way that you will exert the most influence over them.

Write a good group description that highlights the benefits to members. If someone is checking out your group to see if they should join they will see the description. So make this the best it can be so that you accrue the maximum amount of members.

Your Pinned Post

A “pinned post” will remain at the top of the group all of the time. When new members join it will be the first thing that they see. Make sure that you welcome all of your members in this post. Tell members that the best content about the niche will be in this group.

We recommend that you add a native video in your pinned post as well. This video will be you talking about the advantages of joining the group and what it will do for them. Don’t be shy – get in front of the camera and sell your group!

Group Content

You want to actively encourage members to post in the group. Take the lead and post some valuable content yourself. A group that has all of the content posted by the owner looks strange so do everything you can to encourage member participation.

Create posts that answer the questions that your members have. This will help establish you as a true expert and increase your influence. Provide part answers in group posts and provide links to your website where they will find the full answers.

How to Leverage the Power of Community for Massive Website Success > Forum Marketing

Want to launch your website into the stratosphere? Want to get more traffic than you know what to do with?

Then you’re probably interested in growth hacks. You’ve probably read a ton of them already in fact and you probably think you have a pretty good idea of what they entail and how they work.

But I am willing to bet that you’re probably missing THE single most powerful growth hack of them all: leveraging the power of community.

So what do I mean by this?

The answer is simple: using social sites like Reddit and like forums in order to make a name for yourself, to meet people and to promote your site in a way that otherwise would never be close to possible.

So, when people think about posting their content to Reddit, or a Google+ community, they often do so in a way that is quite cynical. That is to say that they will head over to the subreddit on the subject matter they’re most interested in, post their link and then leave.

And then they wonder why they don’t get any luck with it!

What usually happens in return, is that the link is viewed as spam by the existing community. They’ve never heard of you before, so why should they be interested in what you have to say? Very clearly, you are just using this page as a place to spared your content!

Downvoting means that your content will only be seen by a fraction of the people who could have seen it otherwise. And eventually it might be removed entirely.

But now let’s imagine you do this the right way. You spend a lot of time in that subreddit and you use this time to answer people’s questions, to ask thoughtful ones of your own and to engage in some witty banter.

People in there learn to trust you. They come to respect your opinion. And they look out for your future posts whenever you make them. And when you share your content now, you’ve actually earned it!

Not only does this result in hugely more clicks on your link but it also means that they may even try and help you to promote that content and offer you some free marketing. These aren’t just people to market to any more, they are friends. That’s a powerful difference.
