· The writer breaks up the writing for the many skimmers seeking information online. Most people don’t even read an entire article. They skim first sentences of the paragraphs or peruse a list of bullet points, instead. Long paragraphs will bore or intimidate your reader.

· The writer makes good use of his or her author resource box (also known as the bio box). Instead of writing an intriguing sentence or paragraph with an irresistible offer here, many writers simply tell about themselves – ridiculous facts about how they live in the mountains with their two dogs and love starry nights. This is a big mistake with an article marketing article.

And perhaps the single most important lesson in making sure your articles convert into sales is to make sure that the page you’re directing the reader to is professional and built for high conversions. If you need to, but a domain and redirect to an affiliate site – but don’t send your readers anywhere unprofessional or else you risk losing the sale.
